Latitude 33 Bookshop is the kind of old-fashioned independent bookstore that so many of you remember: a unique place filled with a wonderfully eclectic and interesting collection of books. Our staff of avid readers love to recommend the perfect book for you or someone else. Come to us to special-order new or out-of-print books.
This site features the BookSense search engine, a powerful tool allowing you to search for and order books at any time of day or night. When you order from us via this site and pick up your books at our store, they usually cost less than at that other website - and you get credit in our Booklover's Club ($10 credit for every $100 in book purchases). Of course, if you prefer, you can choose to pay the shipping fee and order books sent directly from our supplier to you.
NOTE ABOUT ORDERING: This site is hosted for us by the American Booksellers Association in coordination with book wholesalers. Most books will say "Ships in 1-5 days", which is possible, if you want to have a book shipped directly from the wholesaler. Most of our customers prefer to have us bring in the book, avoiding freight charges. We order daily before 10AM, and over 90% of the books we order arrive the following business day. Order by phone or email so that we receive the order by 9:30 AM Monday through Friday for this next-day service.
